Ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C, can play a role in improving male fertility due to its antioxidant properties. It helps protect sperm cells from oxidative damage, which can affect their quality and function.
Additionally, ascorbic acid is involved in the synthesis of collagen, a component of the connective tissues in the testes and epididymis. This is important for maintaining the proper structure and function of these reproductive organs.
Ascorbic acid has been shown to enhance sperm motility, or the ability of sperm to move effectively towards the egg for fertilisation. It may also help improve sperm count and reduce DNA damage in sperm cells.
By supporting the overall health and function of sperm cells, ascorbic acid can contribute to improved male fertility.
The powerful antioxidant and immune-supporting benefits of vitamin C with much of the ascorbic acid provided in a gentle, mineral ascorbate form.
Orthoplex Green Ultra Buffered C Powder provides micronutrients to support the immune system to fight illness. In addition, this formula supports the healthy function of the thyroid gland and nervous system, while helping to maintain skin integrity as well as supporting
collagen and connective tissue formation.
Indications

Dose
- Adult Dose: Take 4g (approx. 1 level 5mL metric teaspoon) in water once or twice daily, or as recommended by your registered healthcare practitioner.
Storage:
- Store below 25oC in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Manufacturing Excipients:
- Acacia, citric acid, colloidal anhydrous silica, natural orange flavour, pea starch, purified water, sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, stevia rebaudiana
Incidental Excipients: Nil.
Warnings:
- Not to be used by children under two years of age without medical advice. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional. Vitamin, mineral and nutritional supplements should not replace a balanced diet. The maximum recommended daily dose of this medicine (8g) contains 280mg sodium.
Contraindications:
- If you are on medication, always check with your health care provider for any contraindications.

Gift Vouchers
A gift voucher is a great idea to show someone you love them, to say thank you, or simply to show you care. Vouchers are valid for 3 years. (Stolen or lost vouchers cannot be reclaimed). Gift vouchers can be purchased on our website or by calling us – credit cards are accepted over the phone. A gift voucher must be presented at the time of payment to be redeemed.

Groups
We are more than happy to make special group arrangements for birthday celebrations, hen’s parties and corporate groups. For groups of four or more we do require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the booking.
Cancellation
We require cancellation notice of 48 hours to avoid full charges being applied to your cancellation; this also applies to gift voucher bookings.
